Choosing the Right Payment Option for Your Shop!
A payment option guide for wholesale Mechanical & Collision repair partners:
At Chuck’s Auto Parts Solutions, we know that keeping your bays moving means keeping the back office simple. As a long-time partner to wholesale repair and collision shops across the region, we want to make sure every customer understands the payment options available before placing the next order — and before submitting our Credit Application for a business account. This Newsletter walks you through your three main payment option categories, what each one requires, and the small but important update on credit card surcharges taking effect May 1, 2026.
Your Three Payment Categories at a Glance
Every account at Chuck’s falls into one of three payment option: Prepay, Cash on Delivery (COD), and Net 30 Charge Account. Prepay is the default option for any new customer or any customer who has not yet established credit with us. If Prepay is not your preferred arrangement, the next step is straightforward: complete our Credit Application, and we will help you select the option that best fits how your shop pays its bills.
Option 1 — Prepay Payment Option
Prepay is the simplest arrangement and the default for every new account. Under Prepay terms, all orders must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Orders will not be processed, pulled, or scheduled for delivery until full payment has been received. This applies to every line item on every invoice, with no exceptions.
Accepted Prepay Methods:
We accept credit card payments with a 3.9% card price applied at checkout. We also accept business checks — personal checks are not accepted — and cash payments at cash price, both of which must be presented in person at one of our two counter locations:
- 6867 Boyertown Pike, Douglassville, PA
- 1150 Greenwood Road, York, PA
Option 2 — Cash on Delivery (COD): “Pay As You Go”
If you would rather pay only as parts move out the door, our COD program is built for you. With COD, you can settle each sale either before delivery or directly with our driver at the time of drop-off. There are no rolling balances and no surprise statements. Every order is closed out the moment the parts arrive at your shop. A completed Credit Application is required before COD terms can be activated on your account.
Accepted COD – Payment Option:
Drivers can accept cash paid in full at delivery and business checks paid in full at delivery (personal checks are not accepted under any circumstances). Credit card payments are also welcome and can be processed at any time between order placement and delivery, with a 3.9% card price. Simply call your salesperson and they will run the card before the truck arrives!

IMPORTANT — Effective May 1, 2026: All credit card payments on COD orders will carry a 3.9% card price, consistent with our existing Prepay card terms. Cash and business check COD payments remain surcharge-free.
Option 3 — Net 30 Charge Account – Payment Option
Our Net 30 Charge Account is the option most wholesale shops settle into once volume picks up. Approved Net 30 customers maintain a rolling 30-day balance with Chuck’s — with no surcharges and no credit card fees when paid by cash, check, or direct bank transfer. Once your account is approved, your balance is consolidated into a single bill and drafted into one bill by ACH on the first of each month, so there’s no need to chase down individual invoices or schedule one-off payments.
That said, the monthly billing is a floor, not a ceiling. You’re welcome to make incremental payments, pay by the job, or pay down your balance whenever it suits your cash flow — using cash, check, direct bank transfer, or credit card. (Credit card payments against a Net 30 balance still carry the standard 3.9% card price; cash, check, and ACH payments do not.)
Electronic Banking Payment Portal (EBPP)- Payment Option:
Customers also have access to our Electronic Banking Payment Portal (EBPP) — a fast, secure direct bank transfer tool that lets you pay individual invoices or settle several bills in a single lump payment. Dedicated users can log in with account credentials, while one-time payments can be made using your routing number and invoice number. EBPP is the quickest way to apply payment without picking up the phone or mailing a check.
How to Apply for COD or Net 30 Terms
To move off Prepay and onto either COD or Net 30 terms, your business must complete and submit our Business Credit Application. Without an approved application on file, every order placed with Chuck’s will default to Prepay terms — meaning cash, business check, or credit card (with the 3.9% card price) is required up front before we can process the order. Explore alternative payment options!
On the application, simply indicate your preferred arrangement: Net 30 Charge Account for monthly billing, or COD for pay-as-you-go with cash, business check, or credit card (3.9% card price). Your salesperson can walk you through the form and answer any questions about documentation, references, or approval timing.
Action Item: Update Your Contact Information
To make sure your shop continues to receive statements, credits, and invoices without delay, please take a moment to review the contact information we have on file. Even small changes — a new accounts payable email, a moved office, or a switch in your AP contact — can interrupt the flow of paperwork between our offices.
If any of the following details have changed, please email the updated information to AR@chucksparts.com:

Multiple Locations or Corporate AP Office? If your company or dealership operates across multiple locations, or if a corporate accounting office handles your payments, please include that information when you write in. Letting us know up front helps us apply payments accurately to the right account and keeps your records — and ours — current.
Payment & Remittance
Whether you’re paying by check, ACH, EBPP, or credit card, please send all remittance advice to AR@chucksparts.com. Sending remittance information alongside payment lets our accounts receivable team apply funds to the correct invoices the same day they hit our account — which means cleaner statements for you and faster credit on your next order.
